Memorial Day - Seattle

View Baseball Road Trips in a larger map

The nearly two-month layoff from baseball games comes to an end tomorrow. My reinvigoration of Baseball Road Trips will commence with the trip back up to Seattle to see the Mariners host the San Diego Padres.

I think it is very ironic that after this layoff I am going back to Seattle. I started out this season by heading up there, so it is fitting that the kickoff of the peak travel season is Seattle. Sure, it isn't the most scintillating of match-ups, but baseball is baseball and I am excited to get back on the horse.

Like the dozens of times before, I will board the train at 530am for the straight trip up to Seattle. The game starts at 1pm.

Aaron Harang will take the bump for the Mariners while the Padres counter with Clayton Richard.

Always take on a 3-0 pitch ;)
